The Changes in Life that Prostate Cancer Treatment Will Give You, Are You Ready for Them?

I wasn’t sure what to do. I didn’t know if I wanted to talk to anyone about this news. I felt defective in a way that changed how I thought and approached life. I was just told that I have prostate cancer. That was seven months ago and my life has significantly changed.

I have seen a lot of doctors and done an enormous amount of research looking for something that would change this back. Nothing I found would change it back. Especially with the doctors bottom-line of there is really no cure for prostate cancer and it can return anytime and in different forms of cancer. No comfort there.

However, I did find in my research a tremendous amount of alternative prostate cancer treatment that did not have intimidating results as the treatments being recommended to me by the doctors I was seeing. ANY cancer treatment has its dangers associated with it and what bothered me was I only got the answers to the questions I asked. Thankfully, I have some friends in the medical field who prepared me with some good questions for the doctors. I came to the conclusion that I would have about a 40% - 50% chance of some serious problems after the “procedure,” 50% - 60% chance of having some minor problems, and anywhere from 60% - 80% chance of having a little annoyance reminding me about my prostate cancer. That gave me a 20% chance of getting through with having a life as it is today. I did not like these odds.

With the biopsy and other testing I found out and was advised that I would “wait and watch” if I monitored my condition. I decided to take this path and also to add some of the other therapies I found that were outside the scope of western medicine.

I pulled from Chinese medicine (4000 year history), diet change, herbs, high dose supplements, and prayer. Using the five different therapies my PSA as come down 33% in seven months from 4.7 to 3.2. I am monitoring my PSA with testing every three months. The doctors are not sure what to do with the current results of my PSA testing and want to continue to monitor my results. I have 10 years of annual PSA testing and this is the first time there has been a decline.  I will be posting my next test results as they become available.

There are several natural prostate cancer treatments out there and you need to do the research to find which one is best for you.

I am not advocating leaving or stopping treatment from any doctor. Every doctor I talked with said because of my cancer type and its growth pattern, I had an option of waiting and so I opted to wait with a very aggressive homeopathic addition. My results have been great. For more details check out this website that will give you the details of the different homeopathic treatments. I found this website very helpful is the research for Prostrate Cancer Treatment Naturally
